About Us

In the heart of Otter Tail County, Minnesota is our resort. We are located on Rush Lake a 5000+ acre lake. Whether you are looking for great fishing, a sandy swimming beach, or relaxing clean cabin for your vacation we have got it! Fisherman have the best walleye, panfish and bass fishing opportunities right here. Family fun abounds on the resort with water sports, pontoons, fishing boats, kayaks, paddle board, paddleboats, yard games, basketball, volleyball and a play yard. Wanting more than a relaxing campfire and beautiful lake? Our location between Perham and Battle Lake in the Ottertail lake area, offers authentic dining, boutique shopping, championship golf courses, and two state parks. There is always something for everyone whether it is on the resort or an area activity!

Jeremy, Tina, Laiken, Bricker, and Marlie are all looking forward to this new adventure in different ways!

Jeremy Bladow (owner/operator) will be found every day around the resort. He is a lover of all things outdoors and is a skilled carpenter working in his family business, Bladow and Sons Construction since the age of 14. He is looking forward to serving you by fishing tips, hanging out in the lodge, and in general getting to know you all and making sure all is running smoothly around the resort.

Tina Bladow will continue to work full time off the resort but can’t wait to get home at night and enjoy some laughter with everyone at the store, around the bonfires, or enjoying a walk down Rush Lake Loop. She looks forward to meeting guests old and new and helping make your stay here as pleasant as can be.

Laiken is our oldest daughter. She enjoys all things water sports from skiing, tubing, wakeboarding and of course pan fishing. You can expect to see her leading the cleaning charge on Saturdays and being our primary contact at the store along with her dad. During the school year she enjoys basketball, volleyball, track, business professionals of America, Interact and FCA. If you want to get a game of volleyball or water volleyball going she will never turn you down!

Bricker Bladow is our middle child. He loves all things revolving around sports and electronics. We hope you will find him around the resort helping Jeremy with the lawns, beach, getting bait, and pumping gas, but we suspect if there is a basketball game going on he will quietly sneak away and do that instead. While the quietest/shyest of our kids he is a social kid once he has been around you enough and always will smile at you.

Marlie is our youngest child and wants everyone to know she will be offering babysitting services. If you and your partner want to sneak away for an hour or two she wants to help you do that. That basically is all she has talked about since we decided to do this. She is also our most social child and will be found all around the resort greeting you and seeing if you have someone her age to play with.
